PROJECT DESCRIPTION

14 year-old Christopher Perry and his mother have lived for years in the shadow of his father's disappearance. Their existence in this English seaside town is difficult without a husband and father as they are not well regarded. Mrs. Perry yearns to leave, having long since come to terms with the fact Dr. Perry will never return, but young Christopher clings to the hope that one day he will return. A book of insects of the world, a gift from his father, is his constant companion and dearest possession.
