THE FENDER STRATOCASTER GUITAR TURNS 50!

For half a century the Fender Stratocaster has remained at the forefront of music and in the hands of musicians around the world! Few musical instruments can boast such a living legacy. Even fewer are so deeply engrained into our lives and woven so tightly into the fabric of pop culture.

A loving tribute documentary to the 50th anniversary of the Stratocaster is currently in production from Erthbound Entertainment of Los Angeles, California. The Program is slated as a two-hour broadcast and home video for release in the coming months. The compelling story of the Stratocaster and its impact on society is told by a long and distinguished list of guitarist, music industry icons and celebrities. The show features a brilliant theme song titled, “Strat Boogie” written and performed by Marc Seal.

The seasoned and well established Hollywood production company Erthbound Entertainment with credits on FOX, TNT, PBS, A&E, History, ESPN, Speedvision, HGTV, Animal Planet, and more knows what it takes to make television that matters and is currently in production of ‘A Documentary Tribute to the 50th Anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster Guitar‘. The popularity of this instrument has significant historical importance and will be presented as an icon woven into the fabric of the global music industry and a cornerstone of pop culture. A cavalcade of voices tells the story of the Stratocaster. Top musical performers, music industry executives and Hollywood celebrities offer their personal perspectives on how the Strat impacted society. The production of this digital video documentary is 50% complete and is being produced with the blessings and approval of Fender Musical Instruments. Erthbound Entertainment is seeking partners to raise production completion funds in exchange for equity positions. Additionally, we are open for negotiation with distributors, as all territories are available for broadcast and home video distribution. The program is slated for release in the spring of 2005.
