ACT SEVEN – The Future
 As
we stated at the beginning, no one thought
the Strat would last fifty years.
But maybe, with the combination of creative
talent and genius, with the timing and the
advent of the right music at the right time
for the right instrument, maybe it was always
intended to last fifty years. Then
again… here, at the fifty year mark,
the Strat shows no sign of slowing down.
If anything it’s become more popular.
What about the next fifty years? Who’s
to say that the Strat wasn’t always
intended to be a hundred year guitar?
We put that question to several of our
artists in their interviews and to a one,
there wasn’t even a pause:
“Well… yeah. I mean,
it’s a Strat!”
