What follows is a proposal for the content of the 50th Anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster.  As already mentioned, the style of this presentation is very important but not something that is easily given in the mere reading of a document.  But it is precisely that style that will make this unique.  A mere documentary about the Stratocaster would be easy.  But something that the general public will want to see and enjoy time and time again, that is our goal.  The creators of this presentation have the support of the Fender company.  The reason for this is simple: we have a take on this project that is what the company feels will best represent the Stratocaster and tell its continuing story.  At the same time, Fender has made it known that they don’t want to control or adjust the content or its presentation.  It’s their style, to have confidence in the people they trust.  In other words, they feel we “get it” in a unique way and have the ability to produce this project in a new and refreshing manner.  Part of this has to do with the disparate backgrounds of each of the Producers.
